About the role
As a Working Student Test Automation Engineering, you will support our engineering team in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cloud-based platform. You will work hands-on with modern testing tools, automate key processes, and contribute to a high-quality development workflow. This role gives you the opportunity to gain practical experience, deepen your technical skills, and actively shape our QA and automation processes.
Your tasks
- You support the development and maintenance of automated test suites for our innovative, globally rolled-out cloud platform
- With the help of AI-powered tools, you design, implement, and execute automated tests as well as code linting for web-, API-, and microservice-based applications
- You help build and improve our continuous delivery pipelines by integrating automated testing workflows
- You create scripts and small software components to automate testing and quality assurance processes
- You work closely with your teammates and openly discuss clean code, test strategies, code reviews, TDD, unit tests, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Github and other day-to-day engineering challenges
Your profile
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- You are passionate about software development and eager to learn new technologies and testing frameworks
- You have initial experience with at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, …), as well as with the use of AI-powered tools
- First experience with test automation tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, …) is a plus
- You enjoy working in a team, sharing knowledge and continuously improving your skills
- You are a highly motivated, quality-aware and reliable person with an analytical mindset
- You have fluent German and English skills
